‘The Final Ember’ is a three-part high fantasy book series: ‘A Tale of Flames’, ‘Lost Legacy’ and ‘Emberfall’, which are currently being written. ‘The Final Ember – A Tale of Flames’ begins with Lady Eleanor, widely known as “Heiress of Flames”, feared and hated by some, revered and worshiped by others, and born into one of the most important and influential, but politically independent families on the continent, who are said to be the keepers of "The Ember", closest to the "Order of Flames" and whose importance she becomes increasingly aware of during her journey as she faces her destined fate. But the fact that she is a Lady, an Heiress, a key figure in the fate of the world - that is what she had to find out first.

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION
Eleanor, Heiress of Flames
Lady Eleanor, widely known as “Heiress of Flames”, feared and hated by some, revered and worshiped by others, and born into one of the most important and influential, but politically independent families on the continent, who are said to be the keepers of "The Ember", closest to the "Order of Flames" and whose importance she becomes increasingly aware of during her journey as she faces her destined fate.
Eldric, Consort of the Queen
Husband to Irina, Queen of Iridelle, father of Elda and Erica, both ”Heiresses of Flames", and an ambitious as well as aspiring Scholar.
He always seemed to protect and care for his loved ones when not locked away in his library. The Queen and the loyal citizens were hardly interested in the fact that he had been married before; indeed, his eloquence and charm may have contributed to this.
Besides, one may claim that he is the only one who knows the truth about "The Ember".
Irina, Queen of Iridelle
Mother of Elda and Erica, who took Eldric as her trusted Consort, Queen of Iridelle and above all: Keeper of the Flames.
She knows that her family duties are of utmost importance, which is why she rarely leaves the royal palace. Strangely enough, there is one exception: to give birth. And few understand why the royal family invariably gives birth to daughters.
She has the unconditional loyalty of the "Order of the Flames", since her ancestors already watched over "The Ember", which makes them probably the most powerful and influential families of the continent.
Eldric, Conqueror of Flames
Eldric, once known as the Consort of the Queen, fell to the greed that devoured him like his title, only to be reborn as "Eldric, Conqueror of Flames".
He stole "The Ember", thus bringing about "The Corruption", consumed it's powers and sealed the "Essence of Ember" into his younger of the two daughters, Elda. Accordingly, it is to his credit that she is now widely known only as "Elda, the Obliged."
Thus began the Age of Flames.
